Half Marathon and Marathon Training Program

This program will get you ready for the winter running season, culminating in the February Austin Half and Full Marathon. Runners have the opportunity to meet for group workouts two times per week. A full training schedule will be provided with details for every day, including distance/time/duration and type of workout. Athletes will have direct access to Coach Andrea at workouts and via email for any questions and modifications that may be necessary in order to better customize the schedule for one's needs. Periodically there will also be tech talks scheduled to help address such areas as nutrition, gear, injury prevention, and mental training. Most importantly there will be a season ending social hour for all athletes to gather and visit about their season! Nutrition and hydration support will be provided at workouts, and all athletes will receive a Texas Iron tech shirt.

Texas Iron Running Program cost: $85/month (Pro-rated for the month of Feb - $42.50)
Workout Schedule: Tuesday 6:00 PM & Thursday 6:30 AM (Athletes may attend one or both workouts during the week)
Workout Locations: Will be listed on the workout location calendar, but will mostly be based from the JCC (7300 Hart Lane, 78731)
